Joining 50 colleges around the country, GW will host "Elect Her"—a daylong program full of girl power. The campus-based event addresses the low representation of females in student government and encourages women to chase after leadership positions in 2016. Attendees will get the skills they need to get a campaign going. They'll learn to mobilize their constituency, craft their message and speak confidently as candidates.
